The aims of the project are to green the environment and restore green infrastructure within Zazzau emirate through:

1. Fostering awareness on the issues of environmental sustainability and local biodiversity, among youths and civil society members.
2. Mobilization and Community engagement through the facilitation of hands-on street greening and seedlings nurseries.
3. Plant and restore and promote native trees of Zaria and its environs.
4. Creation of lush, green infrastructures, including fruit orchards, flower gardens, regenerative forests, butterfly reserves, and hedges in order to tackle the issue of air pollution.
5. To inculcate in children an awareness and concern for nurturing and protecting trees and the environment through the Green Brigade program in selected primary and secondary schools.
6. Rescue and propagate endangered indigenous plants and tree varieties in Zazzau and other savannah regions of Nigeria.
