Zaria afforestation project is a partnership program between the Zazzau emirate, Yusuf Bala Usman institute and Kaduna State Ministry Environmental and natural resources. Malam Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli explained that, Zazzau Emirate had for long been planting trees aimed at protecting the environment from desertification.
